What workout advice do you have?
The problem with most workouts is that they require a costly gym equipment or membership. Most workouts need more minimalist and simplicity similar to a Zen meditation.
Remember that the majority of people are not going to have a six pack or have a sexy body worthy of Sport Illustrated magazine cover. However it’s important to stay healthy by doing some kind of exercise like walking or jogging.
Our bodies have so many joints on them that could be used for walking that it’s a shame we spent so much time during our day sitting.
Here’s a 5 minute workout to stay decently in shape without any of the hassle.
Zen Tao Workout – Monday, Wed, Fri
- 30 pull-ups
- 30 dips
- 30 squats
Zen Cow Workout – Tuesday, Thurs, Sat
- 30 pushup
- 30 sec plank
- 30 leg raises
Sunday is the day of rest. Drink a lot of milk for protein and drink a cup of hot water to relax.
Don’t have a pullup bar?
How dan I deal with worrying?
To quote from the book How to Stop Worrying and Start Living by Dale Carnegie:
Live in day-tight compartments. One main business in life is not to see what is in the distance but what lies clearly at hand. Today’s bread is the only kind of bread you can eat.
How can I have more energy throughout the day?
Going through college and life, I’ve found that the exhaustion and stress is what causes life to be so hard at times. Here’s some questions to stay energetic:
- Did I go outside for a walk today?
- Did I eat protein, carbs, and vegetables today?
- Am I tried? If so, do I want to take a short 20-90 minute nap? If not, do I want to take a hot shower or cold shower to relax?
- Did I meditate or pray today? Click here for a breath meditation.
